Compatibility of SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs With 4" Between Trailer Frame and U-Bolts

Question:

Hello, Is there a min frame to leaf spring clearance requirement for these to fit. I am currently measuring right at about 4 inches from frame to the top of leaf spring pack/u bolt plate. Thank you!

You will be okay to use the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # SS26MV on your trailer. SumoSprings recommends that there be between 1/4" and 1/2" of preload in the springs when installed. As the springs are 5" tall you will have 1" of preload which will put a little more preload into your springs.

This may raise your suspension slightly but will not prevent your suspension from operating correctly.
