Can I put a Thule OutWay Platform 2 Bike Carrier Fit on a Honda Fit?

We have many trunk mount bike racks that will fit your 2012 Honda Fit, but I do not recommend using the Thule OutWay Platform Bike Rack, # TH65JV. Due to the weight of this bike rack, the lower support arm must sit on top of your bumper. Your bumper could dent or deform under the weight of this bike rack and bikes. This bike rack was primarily designed for vehicles with strong, metal rear bumpers.

Instead, I recommend looking at the OutWay Hanging Style Bike Rack, # TH45JV. This bike rack weighs less than the platform style rack and has been tested with your Honda Fit.

If you prefer the platform-style bike racks that hold the bikes at the wheels, I recommend looking into a roof mount or hitch mount bike rack. These bike racks will require the addition of either a roof rack or trailer hitch to your vehicle, but will give you the option of choosing a bike rack that supports the bikes at the wheels.
