Where Does Furrion RV Electric Fireplace F30SW15ABL Vent

Question:

I have a cabinet in my 2017 Reflection fifth wheel slide, that has a Furrion fireplace installed that is 6 inches deep. There are no ventilation holes or cutouts in back panel of the fireplace. I want to install a TV lift behind the fireplace and have 9.5 inches to utilize for the install. I will be re-locating all the wires that go up to the DVD/receiver down to another shelf to be built below. The lift and 50 inch tv need 8 inch total depth. That leaves me with a 1.5 inch space between the rear of fireplace and the face of flat panel TV. Should I install a reflective foil barrier glued to 1/2 plywood partition to prevent any heat damage to tv screen... or is it even necessary ?? Thank You

Helpful Expert Reply:

That's a cool set up, thanks for the photo. As for the Furrion RV Electric Fireplace # F30SW15ABL, it vents out of the front of the fireplace, as you mentioned with there not being anything in the back. So it should not be necessary to have any type of reflective barrier for your TV behind the fireplace.
