2011 Toyota Sienna and Rockwood Pop Up Trailer Are Not Level when Loaded and Ready to Tow

Question:

My tow vehicle is a 2011 Toyota Sienna V6 FWD with tow package I was just curious if this particular WDS would fit my Rockwood 1907BH. I have already installed airbags in the suspension and when all hooked up fully packed the vehicle and pop up are still not level. Im not sure if there is a solution or if I should look at a bigger tow vehicle. Thanks for any advice.

Since you already have air bags on the truck, I would not add a weight distribution system because doing so can cause the two items to work against each other and diminish the benefits. Ideally, if the trailer is causing the vehicle to sag, weight distribution is the ideal solution over air bags.

With the air bags installed, the truck should really not be sagging any more. So if it is now just an issue of towing the trailer level you will just need the appropriate rise or drop ball mount. I have included a link to our FAQ article explaining how to measure for rise or drop. I have also included a link to our ball mount main page for you.

If you decide to go with weight distribution then you will need to go by the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow plus the weight of any cargo loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I have included a link to our FAQ on weight distribution for you as well.
