Does The Furrion Chill AC Include Freeze Wires For Coleman Mach Air Replacement

Question:

During the replacement of my Coleman unit using the Furrion FR42PV on my 2008 Fleetwood Providence, the answer in your Q/A regarding the 2 white freeze wires attaching to 2 apparent sensors inside the AC unit itself seems ambiguous as well as the video installation you post. Is it necessary to take the cover off the Coleman unit , trace the wires inside and reconnect them to sensors inside the Furrion or will the new unit have 2 additional wires already attached to sensors within that reconnect to the electrical board? Thank you for specifically clarifying this.

Expert Reply:

The Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR42PV does not come with any wiring other than the wiring adapter and the pigtail lead coming off of the physical unit. Removal of the cover will be necessary in order to swap the old unit out.

The pigtail lead coming off the Furrion Chill AC will include your "freeze wires", if the pigtail does not plug directly into your existing AC unit, the included wiring adapter will have the needed freeze wires.
