To in stall the Self Tapping Screw for Sway Control Ball Plate Assembly, item # 3403, you will need to make the proper measurement for your sway control bar and drill holes, either 9/32 or 11/32 inch depending on your trailer tongue, then install the screws through the ball plate mounting assembly, item # 3473, if you need one.

The Spring Clip for Sway Control, item # 2867, secures the sway control assembly ball sockets to the sway control balls through holes in the side of the ball sockets.
