How Long Would it Take Go Power Solar Kit GP66FR to Charge Battery

Question:

I was looking at this portable solar system for our small Nu-Camp TAB 400 trailer that has one 12 volt battery. We do not have a solar port now. I was looking at the 7-pin connector for the GP66FR. This all seems pretty simple. 1. Will going through the 7-pin connector lose any charging capacity or make it take more time? 2. How long do you think it would take to charge the battery? I guess full sun. 3. With the 12 foot cord is this typically long enough for most applications. 4. We do not Boondock a lot but occasionally do camp at National parks with no electricity. How durable would this be and if stored for long periods of time would it lose its effectiveness. Would it best to keep inside the house over these long periods? 5. What is the warranty? Thanks.

Using any of the included connectors of the Go Power DuraLite Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller # GP66FR would not inhibit any of it's charging capabilities. At full capacity the charger would put out a 5 amp charge which would take some time to fully charge a dead battery. Typically a 5 amp charge takes about 6 hours to fully charge a standard 12 volt battery. These kits were made to be very durable and reliable. I'd store long term indoors. 12 feet would normally be long enough for most applications.

The warranty is 2 years.
