Will The Demco SBS Stay-In-Play DUO Brake-Away Switch Still Activate While The Car Isn't Being Towed

If someone pulles the little wire break away that activates breaks when not in tow what will happen.

If the brake-away switch on the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 is pulled, even while not towing the vehicle, it will still engage the brakes until the your vehicle's battery dies and it loses power.
