Trunk Mount Bike Rack Options for a 2013 Volvo XC90

I need a bike rack for my 2013 Volvo XC90 and I would prefer not to speed a lot of money on a trailer hitch. What are my options? If I do need a hitch, where to you recommend I get it installed?

To carry bikes with your 2013 Volvo XC90 without using a trailer hitch, you can use a trunk mount bike rack like the Thule Passage 3 Bike Rack, # TH911XT, that you referenced. If you plan on carrying any womens, childrens or alternative frame bikes, then I recommend picking up the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, as well. Bikes with small or angled frames can be difficult to load on a bike rack and can cause ground clearance issues. This adapter will allow you to mount your bikes easily and safely.
