How Do I Attach the Lower Anchor Hooks on the Yakima HangOut 2 on My 2016 Jeep Cherokee?

I have changed to anchor hooks but dont know what to hook them on? They wont hold on the metal bottom part of the hatch and not seeing anywhere else to hook inside the hatch except plastic part of the bottom of the window which doesnt feel secure.

I have an answer for you. I confirmed with Yakima that the lower strap hooks of your Yakima HangOut 2 # Y02637 hooks at the bottom edge of your trunk, hatch lid, or rear door in anchor mode on your 2016 Jeep Cherokee. If you have already installed the anchor attachments, you will actually place the entire anchor inside of the trunk of your vehicle (entirely). There should be no part of the anchor outside of the hatch. I went ahead and attached the part of the instructions from the manual that explains this process.
