Question:
Hello, I have 2020 F-350 3inch receiver with a 4inch lift and 35inch tires. Previous vehicle was 2001 F-350 no lift, stock tires. Weight dist hitch head worked well. Towing a Keystone Cougar 30RLI. Hitch height minus ball height is 18inch receiver height is 24 1/4 with a 2.5inch shank, or 24inch with 2inch shank. Will Curt C17132 shank work with the Reese Steadi-Flex trunnion weight distribution head model 66560?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # RP66560 will work with the Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17132 on your 2020 Ford F-350. However, in order to use the Curt shank, you will need a hitch reduced on your 3-inch hitch in order to fit the 2-1/2 shank into your receiver. For a reducer, I recommend the Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeves - 3" to 2-1/2" or 2" # C45408. The installation is easy to use and slides directly into your hitch or onto the Curt shank.
