How Long are the Arms on the Stromberg Carlson Ladder Mount Bike Rack for RVs # LA-102

Question:

How far out from the ladder will two bikes extend? We would be putting it on a lance camper, but will be towing a bass boat behind it and want to make sure it will clear. Thank you.

When installed, the ladder itself will extend out 16 inches further than the face of the ladder its mounted to. The distance it extends past that will depend on the bikes placed on the rack. I have edited a photo for you showing this dimension.

The bike pedals should be more or less even with the end of the rack arm, but the handlebars will extend out further than that. If this does not provide you with enough clearance, you can loosen the bolt on your handlebar gooseneck enough so that you can rotate your handlebars 90 degrees so they run parallel with the bike frame and therefore provide more clearance.
