The Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR will work with your 2012 Jeep Wrangler, as long as you have either a Class I, II, III, or IV receiver hitch. Please note that if you have a Class I, hitch the carrying capacity of the bike is reduced to only 2 bikes not 4. The # TH934XTR has a hitch adapter sleeve that will will accept both a 1-1/4 or 2 inch hitch shank.
Another item to keep in mind is depending on the spare tire mount position and tire sizes the tilting mast that is designed to allow for access to your rear cargo area might be limited. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright bar of the carrier is 11-7/8 inches. I have included a helpful article demonstrating how to measure for spare tire clearance.
If you are carrying alternative frame bikes (such as womens or childrens bikes) the Thule Bike Adapter Bar # TH982XT is also recommended. By providing a horizontal bar for the bike rack to grab, this makes transport of alternative frame bikes easier.
Additionally, if you would like to lock your bike rack to your hitch we offer the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2.
I have included links to the parts listed above and some videos for your reference.
