What is the dimension of the opening I have to make for the grommet?

I had the base of the Grommet for Peterson 850 Series Trailer Lights # PE26WR measured and it will be 5-1/2" x 3-5/8". With that said, I would go a hair under these measurements to make sure it is a good, snug fit.
