Parts Needed to Install Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller on 2019 Ram Classic
Question:
Hello Im interested in the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller RED44FR for my 2019 Ram Classic. Will it plug directly into my existing wiring harness? The install was for a Silverado so I want to make sure it works for Ram too please. Also, what is the part number for the wiring harness I need and the trim piece for the rotary knob? Want to make sure I order all necessary parts thanks. Thank you, Geoff

To install the Redarc # RED44FR Tow-Pro Elite on your 2019 Ram 1500 Classic, the only other thing you'll need is the wiring harness, which is part # 331-TPH-020. The harness will plug into the factory tow package connector that's located under the dash above where the driver's right knee would be, as shown beginning at the 1:45 mark in the linked installation video. I've also linked to a video showing how the Tow-Pro Elite works.
The Tow-Pro Elite does include a universal mounting bezel which can be mounted to the dash, center console or using an switch knockout in the dash if one's available.
