Compatibility of Curt C51180 Echo Brake Controller on Super C Motorhome
Question:
Does this wireless controller have the range to work with my 33 ft Super C motorhome?

Motorhomes are the one type of vehicle that doesn't work well with a wireless brake controller like the Curt # C51180 Echo wireless brake controller. The distance between the back bumper and the driver's seat, combined with the interior structures and partitions of a motorhome will likely prevent the Echo and your smart phone from communicating properly, so I wouldn't recommend the Echo for your application.
A standard brake controller like the Tekonsha P3, part # 90195 is what I'd recommend going with. The P3 is very user friendly, and even has presets you can use if you tow a couple of different trailers. If your Super C motorhome is based on a Ford F-series truck chassis cab, it's very likely prewired for a brake controller and be a plug and play installation. You'll also need a wiring harness to connect the controller to the vehicle, the harness you'll need will depend on the model year of your RV chassis. If you'd care to reply with the model year of your motorhome and what chassis it's built on, I'd be happy to recommend the correct harness for you.
I've linked to a demonstration video featuring the Tekonsha P3 brake controller, my buddy Randy will run through the various features of the controller and explain a bit about how it works.
