2017 Nissan Frontier Trailer Wiring Troubleshooting
Question:
I installed the package from eTrailer when I purchased the hitch and wiring, but I cant find the instructions. Everything has been fine until recently. The tail lights dont work directional signals are OK, I think the brake lights are OK, but definitely no tail lights. Any sugestions?

It could be a fuse in the engine bay of your 2017 Nissan Frontier. look at your owner's manual and find the fuses/relays related to the tow package wiring to see if they need to be replaced and or put in. If it's not a fuse/relay, I would test the 4 pole # 118263 coming out of your truck. The open piece on your trucks 4 pole is ground and right next to that is your taillight/side marker lights. Make sure you're getting power when the truck is on using this tester # PTW2993. If so, it's something wired wrong on your trailer end. I always start by making sure I have good grounds.
