Availability of Front Hitch for 2005 Cadillac Escalade
Question:
Will putting a front trailer hitch help me push a boat/trailer up a driveway? The trailer is about 1500 lbs. and the boat is 3000 lbs. Will the weight exceed the vertical load capacity?

While this may work, there is unfortunately no front hitch option available for your 2005 Cadillac Escalade. I may, however, have a solution for you. Depending on how steep your driveway is, the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive - 2" Hitch Ball - 10,000 lbs # TVXL2 works nicely to maneuver trailers into difficult spots.
For safety reasons you would not want to use Trailer Valet with a steep driveway. I only mention this since I do not know what pushing your boat and trailer up the driveway entails. Simply connect your trailer, turn the crank, and guide the trailer with the steering handle. There is also a drill attachment which can be used instead of cranking.
Outside of this, your only option will be to back your trailer up the driveway using the existing hitch on your Escalade.
