Best Suspension Enhancement for 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Towing Trailer with WD System

Question:

Timbren is rated 8000/8500 and Sumo is 1500 I have a 2017 Silverado 4wd and tow a 28ft with a trailer tongue weight of 800lbs along with bed cargo weight of up to 1000lbs. Which one would you recommend. I would like to eliminate the sag and porpoising. I do use weight transfer hitch

The Timbren weight ratings and the SumoSprings are drastically different which is why the Timbrens typically have a reputation as being harsher. Now for your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 the best suspension enhancement is the RoadActive Suspension kit part # RAS3611-CHD for if you have factory overload springs or part # RAS3611-HD for if you do not have them.

The RAS systems offer the best support to reduce sag and unlike other options actually improves the ride quality loaded an unloaded. Also this does the best job at getting rid of porpoising and improving handling.
