What Do I Need to Do In Order to Raise My 2004 Cougar 246?

Question:

I have a 2004 cougar 246 sorry cant remember the model letters fifthwheel. The leaf springs are already above the axles. I recently purchased a new truck and it sits quite a bit higher than my older one. I need about two inches to get the trailer level. My question is what would be the best route to go with getting the right level on the trailer? I already lowered the front of the fifth wheel as far down as it will go. Thanks for all your help!

In addition to lowering the hitch on your 2004 Cougar 246, you can also adjust the pin box on the fifth-wheel trailer to lower the connection point. An additional solution for raising your trailer is to exchange your current trailer hangers for longer ones. I went ahead and linked a selection of hangers to this answer.
