Duralite 100W Panel Use With Promaster 3500
Question:
Will be getting delivery of a CoachMan Nova 20C Li3 with A Lithionics 600 AmpH lithium system. Since the Nova has a Solar on the Go port was strongly considering getting one since GoPower sales said the Duralite would be compatible with both the Li3 and 220 Solar panels on the roof. Have 2 question With a extra pair of jumper cables attached to the accessory jumpy cables included and setting the controller to the proper battery type ? could the panel jump start the Promaster 3500 coach battery?? If so how long would you have wait assuming sunny day before you could try to attempt to start the coach or maybe what would be a good SOC to achieve first? So with the Duralite 100 I could buy an extra panel or two if I wanted to be able to park in shade and match the existing roof mounted panels capabilities.

The Go Power DuraLite Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller, # GP66FR is a lightweight, portable solar charging system rated at 100 watts max. Under optimum conditions this will put out 5.06 amps from the solar panel. You can connect multiple panels to the controller as it is capable of up to 30 amp input. Use the Go Power 100 Watt Panel Expansion, # GP76FR.
Yes, you can connect this to the vehicle battery, using the battery clamp connection, to apply a charge same as you can attach to an RV battery bank.
How long it will take to charge is battery is all relative the current state of charge, the amount energy able to be harvested which is all based on environmental conditions and the size and condition of the battery in question.
The Extension Cable for Go Power Portable Solar Kit at 30' in length, # 34270356, is great add-on that allows you to park in shade while setting solar panels in a more optimum location.
