Can Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler be Used with B and W Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I found the following note at the bottom of the description: Using the Convert-A-Ball gooseneck coupler with pop-in gooseneck balls with levers is not recommended. Im unclear what a pop-in gooseneck ball with levers is exactly. I am considering using this gooseneck coupler with a BandW Turnover Ball hitch GNRK-1251. Is this an non-recommended use?

Expert Reply:
Pop in gooseneck balls are ones that have a round base that uses what looks like a large ball bearing as the mechanism to hold it to the hitch. Some of these balls have the release lever on top of the ball which is called out in this as well. The B and W Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1251-5W that you mentioned is not a pop-in ball style of hitch so the # CG will work just fine with it.
