Will the MORryde Premium Rubber Suspension Kit Replace Equa-Flex System with Correct Track

Question:

This trailer has Equa-Flex equalizers with Correct-Track. Would the MR47ZR be an upgrade? Can I get longer wet bolts and heavier shackles for the Correct Track side? Would the addition of this cushioned equalizer be easier on leaf springs as well? I read the other QAs and didn’t get all these questions answered. Thank you

The Equa-Flex equalizers # LC279688 are already a cushioned equalizer that's designed to provide an upgrade to a stock suspension and being completely honest, it's rather subjective to say whether the Equa-Flex system is better than the MORryde Premium Rubber Suspension Kit # MR47ZR. With that said, I really like the fact that the MORryde system gives you a cross-member that's attached to the equalizers which acts to help provide some added support to the trailer frame, so it does have some benefits that the Equa-Flex doesn't provide.

For wet bolts and shackles, you're not going to want to use different components on different sides of the trailer but the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 3-1/8" Long Shackle Straps # MR76ZR will fit with the # MR47ZR and provide you with a thicker shackle that's certainly an upgrade from the stock straps. You won't need to use longer bolts than what's already on your coach.

Adding in a cushioned equalizer will help reduce some of the stress put on your leaf springs, but overall the most improvement comes from the softer ride you get while towing.

You'll want to go through the qualification chart that MORryde has put together on their site to ensure that you can use the # MR47ZR with your Correct Track system; in most cases you can without issue but you'll want to confirm. I've also added some photos of the chart that might be helpful.
