Picking Out Brake Assemblies for Trailer with 4 Bolt Mounting Pattern
Question:
Hello, I measured the backing plate on my old electronic brake and the top two holes are 2.7/8 inches and the bottom holes are also 2/7/8 inches. I do not know the axle capacity 4000K or more??? Can you send me options? Do I replace the shoes only then? Do you sell a kit with those specs mentioned above? Included with this email are two photos: top and bottom center to center measurements. They are about 2.875 distance. Thank you,

The bolt pattern you mentioned on your brake assemblies matches what the 3,500 lb trailer axle brake set part # AKEBRK-35-SA that you referenced fits. If you have 10 inch drums currently this would fit and work well. Since this is the common bolt pattern for this size drum this is very likely what you need.
