Question:

good afternoon, I have a 2013 Honda 0dyssey with a 2 inch Curt hitch. I wonder if Swagman XTC4 has a clear fold-up in my car. Im wanting to make sure it will fold before purchasing. Thanks!

The Curt hitch receiver that is installed on your 2013 Honda Odyssey is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # C13068. If we want to find out of the Swagman XTC4 hitch bike rack will work for your vehicle we need to find a specific measurement, the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of your bumper. This hitch receiver has distance of 5-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper. Any hitch bike rack you purchase must have a distance of at least 6-1/2", to be on the safe side, from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the rack when in the folded up position. That distance is 3-1/2" on the Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack For 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount, part # S64665, you expressed interest in buying. As a result, this bike rack will not work with your hitch receiver. However, I do have another option.

The Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount, part # Y02443-2, will be a perfect fit for your vehicle. The distance between the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the rack when in the folded up position is 7", so you will have plenty of room. This bike rack comes carries four bikes or you can remove the extension and turn it into a two bike carrier. The bikes are going to be held by padded ratcheting hooks and wheel straps. If you need to access the rear of your vehicle while carrying bikes, or when the rack is empty, you can tilt the mast down to access the rear of your vehicle. This rack comes with a locking anti-rattle hitch pin that reduces movement between the hitch receiver and hitch and secures the rack to the vehicle. The Holdup also includes a cable lock to secure the bikes to the rack.

I have included a video review link of the HoldUp for you to check out.
