Is Saris Bones EX Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Easier to Install than Other Bike Racks

Question:

I have a 2020 Nissan Altima and am looking to upgrade to a 3-bike rack. This one gets excellent reviews, but as the trunk is inaccessible when the rack is on, I would want to be able to easily remove and reinstall the rack when Im not toting bikes around. I currently use an Allen Sports Deluxe 2-bike rack and it is pretty easy for me to install by myself. Compared to that rack, would you say this one is more difficult, less difficult or about the same to install on the car? Thanks!

Due to how lightweight the Saris Bones EX # SA803 is and how easy to install I would confidently say that this rack would be easier to install on your 2020 Nissan Altima than what you have now. This rack only weighs 11 lbs. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
