Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Left Turn Signal Not Working
Question:
I have a 2015 silverado 1500 lt when i hook up to a trailer the left side trailer lights dont work no flasher or turn signal but brake lights and run lights work ive run the tester that plugs into the truck trailer hookup and when i turn on my left signal it doesnt work but on left it lights up what could cause this problem

With weird, illogical problems like this on trailer wiring the fix is almost always improving the grounding of the trailer wiring. So make sure the ground strap that runs from the connector to the trailer frame is connected to a clean metal surface and also make sure the light assembly grounds are connected to a clean metal surface as well.
