Availability of Mounting Kit for Discontinued Westin Grille Guard Part # 44-1170

Question:

I am interested in getting a mounting kit for a Westin 44-1170 grille guard. The vehicle it would be installed on is a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 hd crew cab with tow hooks. Contacted Westin today and they said they dont have any as it is discontinued. Getting at least the upper brackets and lower brackets would be great. Thanks for the help

The Westin part number you reference, # 44-1170, is no longer active in our system and we do not show any related components, such as mounting kits, still available.

The Westin Bull Bar most similar to the original part you referenced is # 31-5240. Installation instructions for this item are attached. Please note that this bull bar, like some other products for your vehicle, requires removal of the tow hooks, and some of the other products offered for your vehicle may also require modifications to the air dam. Depending on local laws, you may also need to re-locate your front license plate using part # 32-0055.
