Difference Between Bearing Buddy BB1980T-SS and BB1980A-SS
Question:
My old model BB1980SS Your new BB1980TSS
asked by: Frank
Helpful Expert Reply:
They are not the same. The Bearing Buddy # BB1980T-SS are threaded into place, and not driven in. If your hub bore is threaded, that's the model you'd need. If your hub bore is NOT threaded, you'd use part # BB1980A-SS. The difference between the # BB1980A-SS and your older BB1980SS is the # BB1980A-SS has the auto check feature that allows you to easily see at a glance whether the hub needs grease added, while the older model didn't have that feature.
