It sure can, that's exactly how it's intended to be used. Just attach the provided wire to the terminal for the pin in the 1:00 position in the 7-way trailer connector, and attach the other end to the positive battery terminal via the included 15A circuit breaker.

On the vehicle side, you'll need the # RM-156-25, which includes the necessary wire, connectors and circuit breaker.

I've linked to some installation/demonstration videos that you'll find helpful.

You won't need to change the plugs at all. The 6 pin plug on the RV will provide feeds for left turn signal/brake lamp, right turn signal/brake lamp, running lamps and a ground connection. This leaves 2 extra un-used circuits. You can use one for the 12V feed to maintain the battery in the towed vehicle and one for the monitor used by your supplemental braking system (if yours is so equipped). The center pin of the 6 pin plug is typically wired up to provide a 12V feed to the towed vehicle or trailer, so you'd simply wire the # RM-156-75 to the center pin of the 6 pin connector on the RV, and wire the # RM-156-25 to the center pin of the 6 pin connector on the CR-V.
