Brake Controller Port For Tekonsha Wiring Adapter 3040-P on 2009 Lexus LX 570
Question:
2009 Lexus LX570 has a hand brake between the two seats does not have a parking brake pedal so where did they hide the brake control factory plug it does have a factory tow package with the seven way plug could not find it up under the dash left of the steering column

Based on what I found online, you are correct the brake controller port is not to the left of the steering column on your 2009 Lexus LX 570. We haven't done any installs with this vehicle, but I did some digging and what I found was that to access the port you will need to remove the lower dash panel, and the connector should be just up and to the right, taped to other wiring so it may be a chore to find, but once you do this will allow you to use the wiring adapter:
- Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Toyota and Lexus # 3040-P
This will allow a plug-in installation for the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195.
