I have a solution for you, but the Blue Ox # BLU79FR is not compatible with your 2016 Smart fortwo Passion. Instead, the tow bar wiring I recommend that installs similarly is the Tow Ready Tail Light Isolating Diode System with 4-Pole Connector # TR118821, which will work well if your RV has a 4 way connector and the diodes in the kit work to eliminate any feedback between the two systems.

A complete flat towing setup consists of base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring, supplemental braking and possibly a high/low adapter.
