Will the CIPA Universal Door Mount Mirror CM45000 Fit a 2008 Ford Expedition
Question:
I would like to install a pair of these mirrors on a 2008 Ford Expedition 2WD. Do you know if they will fit the doors? What is the center-hole distance between the upper and lower mountings? The Ford has a plastic trim panel about 3/4 the way down from window sill. The bracket will have to fit above this trim.

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a Cipa Universal Door Mount Mirror # CM45000 to measure it. From the center of the top mounting holes down to the center of the bottom mounting holes is approximately 17-1/4 inches. I have included a picture showing the measurement for you.
Another option would be the CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, # 11650, which is not a permanent installation. It hooks onto the door. I have included a video showign how it works.
