Recommended Trailer Brake Controller For 2008 Fleetwood Fiesta LX Motorhome
Question:
I have a 2008 Fleetwood Fiesta lx. I need to get a brake control put in for my trailer. Is this unit pre wired for trailer brakes and where would I find the connection? And what would you recommend for plug and play control? Thanks

That will come down to which chassis your 2008 Fleetwood Fiesta LX is built on.
If it is built on the Ford F-53 Chassis then it will have a trailer brake controller port located behind the instrument cluster that is a bit hard to reach, and if it is built on the Workhorse chassis there is not a factory trailer brake controller port so you would need to hardwire the controller.
For either chassis I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is an extremely reliable controller with great features like an easy to read LCD screen and built in diagnostics that are easy to read and understand.
To install the # 90195 in the F-53 chassis you will need the plug in wiring adapter # 3035-P which plugs into the factory trailer brake controller port.
To install the # 90195 in the Workhorse chassis you will need the # ETBC7. If you do not have a 4-way connector installed on the motorhome you will also need # C58044 as well. This will be everything needed to install a functional 7-way connector and hardwire the controller in.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
