Will the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Controller Work On a 2012 Ford F-250 with Factory Controller

My truck has the built infoot brake controller and Im not at all impressed with its function. Is this Tekonsha plug and playfoot with my truck or do I need to take it somewhere for a re-flash??

You can replace the factory trailer brake controller on a 2012 Ford F-250 with an aftermarket brake controller. If you are using a traditional dash mounted brake controller then you will need to re-flash. That said, if you go with a plug-in-play option like the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # TK94FR then this will bypass the factory trailer brake controller so no re-flashing will be needed.
