Can Bearing Buddies BB2047 be Added to Camper Trailer
Question:
Hi, I have a camping trailer with Dexter axles and trailer brakes. It did not come with bearing buddies. My question is can I put them on my camper or do they have to have some kind of vent to allow air to escape? Would there be a possibility of grease getting into my brakes? Thanks

Your camper trailer can absolutely use the Bearing Buddies like the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 2047 # BB2047.
These simply replace your existing grease caps and won't get grease into your brakes; they will keep your hub and bearings better protected from dirt and water than standard grease caps so they are a good addition for your trailer.
You just need to make sure you have the correct ones, and to do that you will need to measure the hub bores on your trailer's hubs using digital caliper and match the hub bore diameter (the center hole in the hub) to the correct Bearing Buddies. For example, the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 2047 # BB2047 will fit a 2.047" hub bore.
I have added a link below to a video review for you of the Bearing Buddies # BB2047 as well as a link to our entire selection of Bearing Buddies in case you need a different size.
