Are LM67048 and 15123 Bearings Interchangeable On 5,200 Lb Axles

Question:

I decided to change the brakes hubs and bearings on my travel trailer. It has a lippert 5200lb axle. My old hub used inner bearing 25580 and an outer bearing lm67048. Got home to find my new hubs I purchased still use 25580 as an inner bearing but the outer race is for a 15123 bearing. So my question is can I return my lm67048 bearings and use the 15123 bearing. Or do I need to swap my outer race to match up with the lm67048 that the trailer used originally?

The LM67048 and 15123 outer bearings are interchangeable since they both measure 1.250" diameter. They are commonly used on 5,200 lb axles. For replacement hubs, we offer the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 8-219-4UC3-EZ part # 8-219-4UC3-EZ for 8-bolt or part # 8-201-9UC3-EZ for 6-bolt. These both use 15123 outer bearings but can be used where the old bearing was a LM67048.
