Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2008 Kia Rondo
Question:
I just purchased a hitch and bicycle rack for my 2008 Rondo Kia .. When I put a bike on the rack the tires almost touch the ground and if I go down a drive way they do.. Is there a rack extension so I can raise the rack up about 3 or four inches..

All of the trailer hitches for the 2008 Kia Rondo are Class I hitches with 1-1/4 inch receivers. We will not have anything that you can use to raise your bike rack. What I recommend is a compatible bike rack that has a rise in the shank if your bike rack does not.
Class I trailer hitches can only carry a maximum of 2 bikes. For a compatible rack with a 3 inch rise in the shank you can use the Swagman Trailhead, # S63360.
If you are carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across from the handle bars to the seat post, I recommend using an adapter bar, # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video that shows how the adapter works.
