Which Curt Cargo Carrier Fit 2021 Toyota Venza With Activity Hitch?

Can you please confirm whether the 19” x 47” Curt cargo carrier item # C18110 will fit on a 2021 Toyota Venza Limited model with a 1 1/4 “ Activity Mount hitch? I am concerned whether the rising shank will collide with the bottom of the bumper. Thanks for your help.

In order to verify if the 19x47 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # C18110 will fit your 2021 Toyota Venza with activity hitch, you will need to take a few measurements. Measure from the receiver's hitch pin hole to the rearmost part of your bumper to determine how much clearance you need out of a hitch accessory.

Then you can compare your measurements to the attached photo which illustrates the specs of the shank on this Curt Cargo Carrier. There is a distance of 6-3/4" from the hitch pin hole to the part of the shank where it starts to rise/bend up. It also measures 11-1/8" from the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the carrier; by this point the shank/carrier would have risen a total of 3-3/4". I looked up a few photos of the activity hitch on your vehicle and I concluded that the shank rise should not affect much since your receiver is not extremely close to the top of the bumper. The main thing you want to do is make sure your measurement from the hitch pin hole to back of bumper is less than 11-1/8" for a good fit, or less than 6-3/4" to be 100% sure it will fit safely. If the bottom of your bumper is less than 1" from your receiver then I would look more at the 6-3/4" measurement.
