Recommended Pre-Mounted 5.70-8 Wheel/Tire for Coleman Colonial Pop-Up Camper

Question:

Hi, we need to order replacement tires for a Coleman Colonial 1982 pop up camper that we have actually remodeled but before I get into that in a minute, the tires on it now are 5.70-8, K-353 Y-8-204 4 Lug which I think I found on your site but without rims, I would prefer buying with rims, but have a few questions I hope you can answer. Is it better to buy wheel, rims, etc separate, or does it not matter? If we buy wheels with rims, is the difference between Loan B and Load D just in weight limit? We actually took this entire camper and trailer apart, sanding, painted trailer and framed the camper into a box truck with slide outs spring mechanism was broken so we removed that added a large RV window and ac from a Coleman Pioneer pop-up, but for now we will be using it now for roofing materials etc and tools and driving it to FL from CT when moving, so I want to make sure tires I order work with these things in mind. If you cant answer specifically because of upgrades thats fine, mostly I am wondering which tires are better for the trip and if difference is mainly weight. Thank you so much!

The only difference between buying wheels and tires together as one or separate is that buying them together means they will come pre-mounted and buying them separate means you'll have to take them to a shop for mounting. I recommend the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel part # AM30153 which is a pre-mounted assembly which has a load range d rating that is suitable for use up to 1,075 lbs per tire. The load range is the amount of weight the tire can hold.
