Where Should Signal Repeater/Booster of Tire Minder TPMS System Be Installed
Question:
Can the transmitter for blue tooth be put into the glovebox? Or does it have to be outside in the cab of the vehicle. Thanks

By 'transmitter', I believe you're speaking of the repeater/booster included with the # TM79FR Tire Minder TPMS that boosts the signal from the sensors to the monitor. The folks at Tire minder tell me that the installing the booster inside the vehicle could significantly reduce its range, so they recommend installing the booster under the RV using the provided zip ties as outlined in the installation instructions.
The booster needs to be connected to a 12v power source and a ground, as shown in the linked install video.
If you're speaking of the monitor, the monitor can indeed be stored away if you wish.
