Demco doesn't sell the Acetyl copolymer lining used in their # DM8669113 brake actuator as a separate item.

I spoke with my Demco representative who said that the lining wouldn't have any influence on a swaying # DM9713045 Kar Kaddy SS car dolly. The lining's purpose is to allow the brake actuator to move smoothly back and forth so it wouldn't have any affect on the tow dolly swaying.

Is this occurring with the tow dolly empty? Demco tells me that when towing empty, you'll need to insert the pin that defeats the auto-steer feature to make the dolly track behind the tow vehicle better. Also, deflating the tires down to around 22 psi will also help the dolly track better and help eliminate some of the bouncing when the dolly is empty.

If this is happening with the vehicle on the dolly, you'll want to ensure that the wheels and suspension components are all properly tightened to the torque specs mentioned in the linked instructions. Make sure that the vehicle is properly loaded on the dolly so that it's centered. Check the wear on the dolly's tires. Uneven wear can be caused by bent wheels or spindles which could cause sway. Also, bent wheels on the vehicle being towed could also cause sway.

You'll also want to make sure that the dolly is being towed so that its tongue is level. Demco recommends the trailer ball be at 18 inches in height. If your more than an inch to an inch and a half higher or lower, you'll want to get the proper ball mount to put the ball nearer to 18 inches in height.
