50 State Universal Catalytic Converter for a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo with 3.5 Liter Motor

Question:

I am looking to replace the old, rusty catalytic converter on my 2004 Isuzu Rodeo 3.5 L but I am finding it very hard to locate the stock part. I was wondering if I can replace the original one with this universal catalytic converter that you sell and have it custom installed at a muffler shop and still be able to pass a smog test? Do you sell the O2 sensors that go with the California legal catalytic converters that you sell? Also, if I can custom install a 50 state Universal Catalytic converter on my 2004 Isuzu Rodeo S 3.5 L at a muffler shop and still pass a smog test then which one would you suggest I buy from you and which O2 sensor?

You can install a universal 50 state approved catalytic converter on your 2004 Isuzu Rodeo as long as the one you choose has the proper ports and is the right size. If you do this and have it professionally installed then it should not have a problem passing the emissions inspection. I have included a link to all of the universal fit 50 state approved converters that we carry.

We do not currently offer O2 sensors. You should be able to pick up the correct one from an auto parts store or the muffler shop might have it when they perform the converter installation.

You will want to measure the existing converter and you will need to know the inlet/outlet pipe sizes to find the best fit. The muffler shop may have to do some fabrication to get everything to fit together properly.
