Taillight Converter to Use When Towing Gooseneck Trailer with Freightliner
Question:
Part 22551 vs RM-732 Everything works when I just do a quick convert $30ish adapter from the gooseneck to the semi trailer plug except for my brake lights on my gooseneck. They will not come on when brake pedal pressure is applied. My gooseneck does not have separate brake lights and turn signals they are wired together, so if I’m turning left and slowing down my left turn signal will be on but on my right side the brake lights will be engaged and vice a versa. Which of these products would work best for me?

You'd need to install the # RM-732 on the trailer wiring circuit of the tow vehicle so that on the stop turn circuits you have them combined in a way that they will function like they need to on the gooseneck trailer.
