Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2013 Chevy Express Van
Question:
2013 Chevrolet Express Van without the trailer wiring. I need a power converter, but dont know what the difference between these two kits are 46255 and 46365. Will either one work? Only going to pull a small trailer with one blub on each side and no trailer brakes.

What I would recommend you get is a Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 55540. This wiring kit plugs inline with the tail lights of your vehicle and will activate the trailer lights of your small trailer.
Curt has determined that you do not necessarily need a powered unit like the Hopkins Converters # 46255 or # 46365 and since your trailer only has two lights on it I think the # 55540 would work well for you.
The main difference between the # 46255 and the # 46365 is that the # 46365 can handle 8 amps per circuit and the # 46255 can only handle 5 amps.
