Recommended RAS Suspension Enhancement For 2010 Toyota Tundra 5.7L 2WD Towing 8000lb Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2010 Tundra 5.7 2wd with a snug top camper shell and I have a 34 foot rv travel trailer with a tongue weight of about 800lbs that weighs about 8000lbs. I also have a weight distribution hitch setup. which RAS should I purchase, the standard or heavy duty, and how should I set up the spring pack? the 20 or the 40 or somewhere in between? Thanks in advance!

For your 2010 Toyota Tundra 2WD with a Snug Top Camper Shel towing a 34' Travel Trailer with 800lbs tongue weight and 8000lb trailer weight using a weight distribution hitch I recommend the RoadActive Suspension Heavy Duty # RAS34FR with a 3000lb load capacity.

This kit can be adjusted in two ways depending on the exact stiffness and load support you want, but in your case I would go ahead and use the lower setting which is the thinner spacer. The reason I recommend going with the Heavy duty kit over the standard kit is this suspension enhancement is unique in the fact that it does not negatively effect the ride quality of your truck when its loaded or unloaded and will actually improve the ride quality of the truck.

I included a video of the # RAS34FR for you to take a look at.
