Using A Ducted RV AC System On A Non-Ducted RV
Question:
Hello- will this ducted air conditioner unit work with the non-ducted cover vent? This is what my RV repair shop just installed and the air conditioner is freezing up- trying to figure out if the mismatch of parts is related.

The Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # AT15027-22 package comes ready to setup with a ducted system but can still be used with a non-ducted system. Since you're having a freezing issue you'll want to ensure the louvers aren't positioned in a way that cold air is being forced back up into the unit and that the drain holes on the bottom of the rooftop unit aren't clogged up in any way as this is the usual cause of of freeze up.
