Parts Needed to Install a Reese 20k Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch in a 2012 Ford F350SD with 8 ft Bed

We have a 2012 Ford F350 long bed King Ranch and want to have a fifth wheel hitch installed in the bed. What steps need to be taken to do this?

The fist thing you will need is an installation kit. For that I would recommend a custom kit specifically designed to fit your 2012 Ford F350 SD with a long bed since custom kits install in a bout half the time and minimize drilling. For that I would recommend the Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # RP50026-58. I attached installation instructions and an install video for you to check out also.
Once you have the rail kit installed you would be able to install a Reese Select Plus 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30081 like you referenced.
Finally you might also be interested in a Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # C56000. This will give you a 7-way in the bed of your truck to allow you to connect to the wiring of your trailer easier.
