Can I Use The Fastway Self-Locking Adjustable Ball Mount On 2" and 2-1/2" Receivers?

Will the 2 1/2 in adaptor come off and fit a 2 in hitch

The Fastway Self-Locking, Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # DTALBM6827 will only work on 2-1/2" receivers. The adapter must stay on to properly lock the hitch into the receiver.
For a 2" receiver you will need the Fastway Self-Locking, Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # DTALBM6800-2S.
