Weight Distribution for 2019 Nissan Pathfinder Towing 2021 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup

Question:

I am looking to tow a Forest River Wolf Pup 18TO. Dry it is under 3800 lbs, which seems more than doable for the Pathfinder. I was looking at getting a weigh safe hitch, but it seems like I should have a WDH hitch. Do I need the WDH hitch? Am I able to use the weigh safe with the WDH? It is also unclear to me how the WDH deals with or rise like the weigh safe hitch does.

A weight distribution system would be a great idea for your 2021 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup but there isn't a way to use it with a Weigh Safe ball mount that has a scale built into it. The reading wouldn't be accurate even if there was a way since the spring bar tension pushes down quite a bit on the hitch ball.

Based on the weight you mentioned for your camper the Curt weight distribution part # C17499 that you referenced would work really great since it has a tongue weight range of 500 lbs - 800 lbs. For a hitch ball then you'd just need the 2 inch ball part # C69FR and you'd be set.
